Terms of Service
Translation Notice: This English version is provided for reference only. The Korean-language version is the legally binding original. In the event of any discrepancy between this translation and the Korean version, the Korean version shall prevail.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the conditions and procedures for using the Bagle service ("Service") provided by SUBTWO ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users.
1. Purpose
These Terms govern the use of the AI-powered style recommendation service provided by the Company.
2. Definitions
- Service: The mobile application service that the Company provides under the "Bagle" brand, including outfit recommendations, wardrobe management, virtual try-on and personal color analysis.
- User: A person who has agreed to these Terms and registered for the Service.
- Bagle: The in-app credit used within the Service to access AI features.
- Subscription: Use of the paid subscription plans in Section 5.2 through monthly recurring billing.
- Item: A clothing photo and related data registered to the Service by a user.
- Outfit Recommendation: A combination of clothing suggested by AI based on the user's wardrobe, the weather, style preferences and similar inputs.
- Virtual Try-On: An AI-generated simulated image of the user wearing an outfit.
- Style Persona: Free-form text entered by the user describing their style direction (up to 100 characters).
3. Effect and Modification of the Terms
- These Terms are made public by posting on the Service screen or the website (baglestyle.com/terms).
- The Company may modify these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law and will, from at least 7 days before the effective date, post the modifications by the means set out in paragraph 1, stating the effective date and the reason for the change and presenting them together with the current Terms.
- For modifications that may disadvantage users or that are material, the Company will post them by the means set out in paragraph 1 from at least 30 days before the effective date. A user who does not agree to a modification may discontinue use of the Service and withdraw membership under Section 8.1.
4. Sign-Up and Account
- Sign-up is available via social login (Apple, Google, Kakao).
- Users must provide accurate information; provision of false information may result in restriction of Service use.
- An account may be used only by its owner; assignment to or sharing with any third party is not permitted. However, the transfer of subscription entitlement to another Bagle account of your own that uses the same Apple Account, as described in 5.7, does not constitute assignment under this paragraph.
- Persons under 18 may not register for the Service. Bagle relies on third-party generative-AI services (including Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude) to provide core features such as outfit recommendations and virtual try-on, and those services' terms restrict use to individuals aged 18 and over; the Company therefore blocks sign-up for those under 18. This threshold also satisfies Article 22-2 of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (legal-guardian consent required for processing the personal information of children under 14). For details, please refer to Section 11 of the Privacy Policy.
5. Plans
5.1 Hanger Plan
The free default plan applied at sign-up. Available indefinitely with no time limit.
| Plan | Key Benefits |
|---|---|
| Hanger | Item limit of 20 · no monthly Subscription Bagle grant (top up via in-app purchase) · 1 virtual try-on background ("Street") |
Upon initial sign-up, you may use 3 item registrations, 1 outfit recommendation, and 1 virtual try-on with no Bagle deduction. These free counts apply on any plan and separately to each feature, and Bagles are deducted for a feature only after that feature's free count is used up. The free counts are not re-granted if you sign up again with the same email address.
For detailed benefits per plan, refer to the table below and the Apple App Store.
5.2 Paid Subscription Plans
| Plan | Key Benefits |
|---|---|
| Closet | Item limit of 200 · 30 Bagles granted monthly · all 5 virtual try-on backgrounds |
| Boutique | Item limit of 500 · 50 Bagles granted monthly · all 5 virtual try-on backgrounds · personal color analysis |
| Atelier | No Item limit · 100 Bagles granted monthly · all 5 virtual try-on backgrounds · personal color analysis · style persona · pet try-on |
- Unused Subscription Bagles granted each month are forfeited on the next renewal date (Section 6.4, paragraph 1).
- The table above sets out the scope of features provided under each plan. Using those features still deducts Bagles at the rates set out in Section 6.2; a subscription does not waive Bagle consumption.
For the specific price and detailed benefits of each subscription plan, refer to the Apple App Store.
5.3 Payments
- Subscriptions are processed via Apple App Store in-app purchases.
- Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless canceled by the user.
- Prices may be adjusted in accordance with Apple's country-specific pricing and currency-rate movements.
- Subscription charges are billed through your Apple Account (Apple ID), while the resulting entitlement and Subscription Bagles attach to the Bagle account you were signed in to at the time of payment. The Apple Account is the billing unit and the Bagle account is the entitlement unit; they are distinct, and a single Apple Account may be used to pay for several Bagle accounts.
- If you subscribe separately under different Apple Accounts, each subscription is billed separately. The Company has no means of reviewing payment history per Apple Account or of preventing duplicate purchases, so please check your active subscriptions yourself in your App Store settings.
5.4 Cancellation
- Subscription cancellation is available from the Apple App Store settings.
- Upon cancellation, the subscription plan is maintained until the end of the current billing cycle.
- After the billing cycle ends, the account reverts to the Hanger Plan with data retained.
- After reverting to the Hanger Plan, even if your items exceed the cap (20), existing items are not deleted or made read-only and remain fully usable; only the addition of new items is restricted while you are over the cap.
- Bagle balances charged via in-app purchase are retained and may be used on the Hanger Plan (subject to the exceptions in Section 6.4, paragraph 2). The Subscription Bagle balance granted for that billing cycle, by contrast, expires at the point of transition; see Section 6.4, paragraph 1.
5.5 Downgrade
- When moving from a higher plan to a lower plan, even if your items exceed the lower plan's cap, existing items are not deleted or made read-only and remain fully usable.
- New item registration is allowed only within the cap.
- The personal color feature is available on Boutique or higher; the style persona and pet try-on features are available only on the Atelier plan. On downgrade, data is preserved but use of those features is restricted.
5.6 Refunds and Right of Withdrawal
- Subscriptions and Bagle charge packages are sold through the Apple App Store, and the filing, review and execution of refunds are all carried out by Apple. Refund requests follow the channels and procedures Apple provides. We hold no payment instrument through which we could directly execute a refund for an App Store purchase, and we take no part in Apple's decision on whether to grant one.
- The right of withdrawal under Article 17 of Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc. is preserved irrespective of whether a refund is reviewed by Apple and of its outcome.
- Period — A withdrawal request may be submitted within 7 days of the payment date. Where the starting point under Article 17 of Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc. falls later than the payment date, the period runs from that later date.
- How to exercise — Email support@baglestyle.com with (i) your account email address, (ii) the name of the product purchased, and (iii) the payment date. We will confirm receipt at the same address. You may also submit a refund request through Apple at the same time.
- Effect — Refunds are returned through Apple's refund process, and the scope, timing and method of the refund follow Apple's procedures. Where no refund is made through Apple, we will confirm receipt and take the steps required by law. In either case, alongside the refund, the Bagles granted for that payment are reclaimed under paragraph 7 below.
- For divisible digital content (such as unused Bagles), withdrawal is available for unused portions only under the proviso to Article 17(2)(5) of the same Act. Portions already used or consumed are excluded from withdrawal.
- Reclaiming Bagles on refund or withdrawal — Where a payment is refunded or a withdrawal takes effect, we reclaim Bagles as follows.
- Bagle charge packages: We deduct the number of Bagles in the refunded package from your Purchased Bagle balance. The deduction is capped at that balance and the balance never goes negative. Any amount we cannot deduct because you have already used it is not billed to you. The deduction appears in the app's Bagle usage history.
- Subscriptions: Where a refund revokes your entitlement to the subscription, the Subscription Bagle balance granted for that billing cycle is forfeited in full. Your Purchased Bagle balance is not deducted in that case.
5.7 Transfer of Subscription Entitlement
- The entitlement of an active subscription is not transferred. While a subscription is active, signing in to a different Bagle account with the same Apple Account does not move it; the entitlement remains with the Bagle account it was originally attached to. The other Bagle account cannot use that subscription's benefits.
- Where no active subscription exists (for example after cancellation or lapse), restoring purchases or subscribing anew from a different Bagle account using the same Apple Account transfers that subscription's entitlement to the latter Bagle account.
- Where a transfer occurs under paragraph 2, the Bagle account it left moves to the Hanger Plan and its Subscription Bagle balance expires in accordance with 6.4(1). The Purchased Bagle balance does not expire; it remains with that account and is not transferred.
- Whether an entitlement transfer occurs is determined automatically by the Apple Account and by whether the subscription is active. The Company cannot carry out or reverse a transfer in an individual case.
6. Bagle In-App Credit
6.1 Use of Bagles
- Bagles are the in-app credit used within the Service to access AI features (item registration, outfit recommendation, virtual try-on, etc.). Bagles are not deducted, however, for the features Section 6.2 designates as free or within the free counts set out in Section 5.1.
- Bagles can be purchased through the Apple App Store or received monthly as a subscription benefit.
6.2 Bagle Consumption
| Feature | Bagles Consumed |
|---|---|
| Item registration (AI tagging) | 1 Bagle |
| Outfit recommendation | 1 Bagle |
| Virtual try-on | 2 Bagles |
| Personal color diagnosis | 2 Bagles |
| Background removal | Free |
6.3 Bagle Purchase
Bagles can be purchased via the Apple App Store in fixed packages (such as 10, 30, or 50 Bagles). The specific price of each package is governed by the prices listed on the Apple App Store.
6.4 Types and Expiry of Bagles
- Subscription Bagles: A plan-specific monthly allotment is granted on each billing renewal date. Unused amounts expire on the next renewal date and a fresh allotment is granted; they also expire when a subscription lapses, when a refund revokes your entitlement and the account moves to the Hanger Plan, or when subscription entitlement is transferred to another Bagle account under 5.7(2). Where you change to a higher subscription plan, the new plan's monthly allotment is granted in full at the time of the change and any unused amount from the previous plan expires at that time.
- Purchased Bagles: Bagles charged via in-app purchase are held without any time limit and may be used on the Hanger Plan after subscription cancellation. This does not apply on member withdrawal (paragraph 6 below) or on refund or withdrawal of a purchase (Section 5.6, paragraph 7).
- When a feature is used, Subscription Bagles are consumed first; any shortfall is deducted from Purchased Bagles.
- Refunds for purchased Bagles are subject to Apple's refund policy. Section 5.6, paragraphs 2 and 6, continue to apply.
- Bagles are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred to any third party.
- Upon member withdrawal, the Bagle balance (whether Subscription or Purchased) is deleted after the 14-day grace period set out in Section 8.1, paragraph 3, in accordance with Section 8.1, paragraph 4. If you revoke your withdrawal during the grace period, the balance is not deleted. However, any expiry or reclaiming that takes effect during the grace period (paragraph 1 of this Section; Section 5.6, paragraph 7) continues to apply. The right of withdrawal under Article 17 of Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc. is preserved irrespective of these Terms.
- Reclaiming of Bagles upon refund or withdrawal of a purchase is governed by Section 5.6, paragraph 7.
7. User Obligations
- Users must not engage in any of the following.
- Uploading another person's photo without authorization
- Uploading obscene, violent, or unlawful images
- Reverse-engineering or fraudulently using the Service
- Imposing excessive load on the Service using automated tools
- Misappropriating another person's account
- Where the Company identifies a violation, it will respond as follows.
- Clear unlawful conduct (unauthorized upload of another person's photo, obscene/violent imagery, misappropriation of another person's account, etc.): The Company will restrict Service use immediately without prior notice and provide notice of the reason after the fact.
- Other violations (such as the use of automated tools): The Company will provide prior notice requesting remediation and, if no remediation occurs within a reasonable period, will restrict Service use.
- If a user disagrees with the Company's action, the user may submit an objection to support@baglestyle.com.
8. Member Withdrawal
8.1 Withdrawal Procedure
- Users may withdraw membership at any time from in-app settings.
- Upon withdrawal, all sessions are signed out immediately and access to the account is blocked.
- The Company observes a 14-day grace period after withdrawal, during which the user may sign back in with the same account to undo (restore) the withdrawal.
- After the 14-day grace period elapses, the Company will permanently delete the following data.
- Profile information (email address, avatar, pet photo)
- Items and images
- Outfit recommendation history
- Virtual try-on images
- Bagle balance
- Bagle transaction records are anonymized and retained for 5 years in accordance with the Korean Electronic Commerce Act.
- Permanently deleted data cannot be recovered.
- Closing your account does not cancel your App Store subscription. If you close your account while a subscription is active, that subscription remains in force and you will continue to be billed on the next renewal date. To stop billing, cancel the subscription yourself in your App Store settings before closing your account. The Company has no means of cancelling an App Store subscription on your behalf.
9. Disclaimer Regarding AI Services
- Outfit recommendations, virtual try-on images, and personal color diagnosis results generated by AI are for reference only and may differ from actual outcomes.
- The Company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI results. Liability for damages caused by the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence is, however, not exempted (Korea's Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, Article 7(1)).
- For AI processing, images are transmitted to external AI services (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini); please refer to the Privacy Policy for details.
10. Intellectual Property
- Intellectual property rights to the Service's design, code, and AI model output formats belong to the Company.
- Copyright in photos uploaded by users belongs to the users.
- Users grant the Company a license to the extent necessary for AI processing and storage of photos uploaded for use of the Service.
- AI-generated virtual try-on images may be used solely for the user's personal purposes; commercial use is prohibited.
11. Restriction and Interruption of the Service
- The Company may restrict or interrupt the Service in any of the following cases.
- Technical reasons such as system maintenance or equipment replacement
- Force majeure such as natural disasters or emergencies
- Failures of third-party services (AI APIs, cloud)
- The Company will, where possible, provide advance notice of any interruption; where unavoidable, notice will be given after the fact.
12. Limitation of Liability
- The Company shall not be liable for damages caused by the user's own fault.
- The Company makes no separate warranty for any service provided during a free trial period.
- The Company's liability is, within the scope permitted by applicable law, limited as follows.
- Paid users (users with subscription or Bagle purchase history): Limited to the service fees or payment amounts paid directly to the Company by the user during the immediately preceding one (1) month.
- Free (Hanger) users: Liability is borne within the scope set forth in mandatory provisions including Korea's Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions.
- The limitations of liability under this Section do not apply to damages caused by the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence, or where liability cannot be limited under mandatory provisions such as Article 7 of Korea's Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions.
13. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes regarding these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- The court of competent jurisdiction over disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be determined in accordance with Korea's Civil Procedure Act (in principle, the court having jurisdiction over the user's address or place of residence). Where the Company and the user have separately agreed, an action may be brought in the court of the agreed jurisdiction.
- In the event of a dispute, the user may apply for mediation through a relevant dispute resolution body such as the Korea Consumer Agency or the Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee.
